Contrasting schwa with
/a/, /æ/, and /ɛ/
Pronunciation students tend to confuse the /ǝ/-sound with other vowel sounds. Among those easily-confused sounds we have, Latin “a,” diagraph, and epsilon.
Now practice the following sequences of vowel sounds:
